Whenever we visited Jo in hospital it was a happy occasion because Jo was always optimistic that she would get better. This was an amazing quality about Jo which should always be remembered. We would come to the hospital armed with fruit (she particularly loved strawberries!) and chocolate (which she also loved!). Jo always made the children feel very welcome and special. Lorraine and Jo liked to talk about episodes of "Friends" as they both had every episode on DVD! Jo loved dogs so much and she missed being with her Barney but she knew Alex would do a great job of looking after him until she was with him again.She would also talk about the dogs she looked after in her dog grooming business which she loved so much.

Jo loved home so much but she was always strong when she had to go to hospital and was always very brave.
